No, Excel Read and Learn Centres provide remedial sessions to learners 1 hour once a week (or more if needed).

The reading lessons are composed of a one-hour instructional period, divided into two segments. During the initial half-hour, students utilize the Excel reading program on computers, allowing for the monitoring of their individual reading abilities. In the subsequent half-hour, students transition to a dedicated classroom known as the skills room. In this environment, they engage in various activities such as spelling exercises, phonics practice, and interactive reading sessions led by the teacher. This comprehensive approach aims to foster language development and enhance overall literacy skills among the students.
